PFANDBRIEFSTELLE
The Pfandbriefstelle is a bank under public law. It was founded
in 1939 with the purpose of issuing mortgage bonds ("Pfandbriefe")
and other bonds in order to raise capital for its member institutions.
These are the 10 Landes-Hypothekenbanken, the so called "Hypos".
